New team, new car, and a highly motivated crew: Eastalent Racing, founded in December 2021, is chasing points with great enthusiasm in its first season in the ADAC GT Masters. Norbert Siedler (39, AUT) and Simon Reicher (22, AUT) share the cockpit of the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. The two Austrians are an established duo and have already competed in the German GT Championship over the past two years.
Norbert Siedler made his debut in the ADAC GT Masters in 2011 and is entering the series for the seventh time this year.
“Unfortunately, we are not yet able to test the new Audi. Due to delivery delays, it will only be available to us during the official test in Oschersleben. However, we have a good team with experienced engineers and mechanics. In our first season in the ADAC GT Masters, we’re not aiming for the title, but we want to score points and finish in the top ten,” said the experienced GT specialist, summarising the team’s goals.
His young teammate, Simon Reicher, competed regularly with Yaco Racing in the ADAC GT Masters for the first time last season, after guest appearances in 2019 and 2020. The team participated in six out of seven events. Before that, the driver from Kirchberg was active in ADAC TCR Germany. His father, Peter Reicher, is the owner of the private team Eastalent Racing and is confident about the team’s future:
“We are tackling the ADAC GT Masters with a highly motivated team. We’re relying on the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II and our two Austrian drivers, Simon Reicher and Norbert Siedler. Our passion lies in motorsport, and we want to showcase that in the 2022 ADAC GT Masters.”
