At this year's 24h Race at the Nürburgring (19–22.06.2025), Elia Erhart will once again compete for the Juta Racing team. Last year, the Röttenbacher already took the wheel for the Lithuanian team on the legendary Nordschleife and finished in fourth place in the PRO-AM category with the Audi R8 LMS GT3. In preparation, the EFP:racing driver will complete a test session this Friday, followed by the 24h Qualifiers on Saturday.
“I’m really looking forward to my Nordschleife comeback at the 24h Qualifiers, where we want to prepare for the 24-hour race as a team,” says Erhart, who has continued to follow Juta Racing’s appearances in the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) since last year’s cooperation. “For me, Juta Racing has once again made a major leap in development, as proven by their strong performances in this year’s NLS races. So I am very much looking forward to being part of the team again. Many thanks to my long-standing partners, who will once again stand by me in 2025 and support me in this regard.”
Last year, Elia Erhart (2nd from left) took the wheel for the Lithuanian team and finished fourth in the PRO-AM category with the Audi R8 LMS GT3.
In the first two NLS races of 2025, Juta Racing not only secured pole position in qualifying but also finished in the top 10 in both races—a strong achievement, especially as a nominal PRO-AM team. In addition to “Selv” and Alexey Veremenko, who already successfully navigated the Audi R8 LMS GT3 through the “Green Hell” last year, this season’s start also saw Frank Stippler join the line-up. This driver trio will also share the wheel with Elia Erhart during the 24h Qualifiers weekend and the 24h Race at the Nürburgring.
“Frank has achieved legendary status at the Nordschleife in recent years and has already won the 24h Race at the Nürburgring three times with an Audi R8 LMS GT3. 'Selv' and Alexey have made brilliant progress with the Audi R8 LMS GT3, so we have a strong package that can be competitive in the PRO-AM category. In addition, we will do everything we can to improve on our 17th overall place from last year’s 24h Race.”
Elia Erhart’s long-time teammate, Pierre Kaffer, will also be available in an advisory capacity, bringing his vast expertise to the team.
The 24h Qualifiers begin on Saturday morning, 24 May at 10:00 with a two-hour qualifying session. The first race will take place in the evening from 17:30 to 21:30. On Sunday morning, 25 May, the second qualifying session and a top qualifying will follow. Both determine the starting grid for the second race, scheduled from 13:00 to 17:00. However, Erhart himself will focus on the test on Friday and Saturday's events; he will not participate in the 24h Qualifiers on Sunday.
